Learn 02 - Answer Call

The prowords are…

  • SEND
  • ROGER
  • WILCO
  • OVER
  • WAIT (< 5s)
  • WAIT-OUT (> 5s)
  • OUT

Answer a call by…

  • Own Callsign, SEND, OVER.

Example:

  • 00, SEND, OVER.
  • 00, ROGER, OVER.
  • 00, ROGER, OUT.
  • 00, WILCO, OVER.
  • 00, WAIT (< 5s)… OVER.
  • 00, WAIT OUT (> 5s) …. Need to re-initiate a call again
  • 00, WILCO, OUT.

NOTE: Generally, the station who initiated a call will terminate the call by using the proword OUT.
